Today I completed two pre-recordings of Gene Sullivan’s HOA radio show, Where You Live, which airs on Saturdays at 10 a.m. on AM 1280 the Patriot. Gene is always a gracious host and it was fun to record two shows, back to back.
The subject was (no surprise) SF 1750, the HOA reform bill that was passed into law by the Governor on May 12, and becomes effective January 1. I was part of a broadcast “panel” that was made up by Matt Greenstein, attorney from Greenstein Sellers, and Samantha Troje, an active property manager with New Concepts Property Management Company, which is Gene’s firm.
We had an active and unscripted discussion about the various aspects of the bill including fines, maintenance, governance and our general reaction to the bill from our various perspectives. It’s radio worth listening to.
Tune in to AM 1280 on Saturday, July 4 and for part 2 on July 11, at 10 a.m. Once the link of the recording becomes available, I will post that too.
