If you’re an HOA leader and haven’t heard of SF 1750, you’ve unfortunately been living under a proverbial HOA rock. This much ballyhooed legislation was passed into law on May 12 and will be the law of our Minnesota land on January 1, 2027. Much is being done to get us all ready for that day, which will change the way we as volunteers operate in association properties.  If you need to get up to speed, our 90-minute webinar is a great start.

The regulations and provisions keep on coming, as there are myriad examples in other states too. Not sure if misery loves company, but as HOA leaders, we all have a lot to juggle now, no matter where we live. Our advice: Just keep doing the right thing for your residents and properties, and you’ll very likely be in compliance with any part of the new Minnesota law.
