We’ve had a fair number of questions about the new HOA Ombudsman office in Minnesota, which became law last July as part of the HOA reform legislation that was under consideration in the 2025 legislative session in St. Paul. We expect more legislation that affects HOAs to be considered when the lawmakers convene this week.

We recently shared the new website that the Ombudsman Office launched, but some changes have occurred and we thought it would be helpful to share it again. You can reach the site directly from this LINK. It’s part of the MN Department of Commerce site.

As we’ve noted before, the Ombudsman (Joe LeBlanc) has been invited to attend our chapter meetings. We’re still hoping for scheduling on that issue.
