If you have missed our April chapter meetings, which is the last month of our spring startup series for HOAs, you have one more chance to attend. The Maple Grove chapter is this Tuesday (4/21) at the Maple Grove Community Center at 9 a.m.  Scott Hurm from Crest Exteriors, one of our sponsors, has been giving a great presentation on the steps you would need to take in the event of storm damage in your HOA.   He delves a bit into the insurance issues and how to utilize a qualified contractor to assess the damage correctly.  It’s a great prep for what could become an issue at HOAs depending on Mother Nature’s plans this spring and early summer.

We are also featuring an HOA case study in which a board from Alabama got their hands in a vice due to a decision they made around fences. We’ll watch a news report on the issue and unpack the issues to see how our members might react and deal with a similar issue on their own property.  Plus, HOA legislative reform updates and Open Forum and more!
