So far, there has been a dearth of local news coverage regarding the Minnesota House passage of SF 1750, the controversial bill that snaps on more requirements and restrictions to existing CIC laws in this state. I’ve only seen one major outlet even mention it so far. Fox 9 covered it briefly, but only in text. FOX 9
I was on Gene Sullivan’s radio show that airs today on AM1280 The Patriot (Saturday, May 2), but that was pre-recorded before the vote was taken, and I frankly had more optimism at the time of the recording that the bill could die. That proved to be a pipe dream as it passed handily on Thursday.
Interesting that the bill’s label is now an “HOA Bill of Rights.” It reminds me of when The Strategic Defense Initiative of the 1980’s was renamed “Star Wars” technology. Made it an easier sale to the public.
