Not much substantive coverage locally in the “news” following the passage of SF 1750, the bill that seeks to reform HOA practices in Minnesota.  A few headlines from a few local news outlets reveal how they’re serving this bill up to the public:

FOX 9: New Minnesota HOA Bill of Rights rules limit fines, ban retaliation
WCCO TV: 82% of new Minnesota homes are in an HOA. A new state bill aims to protect residents.
Star Tribune: Minnesota lawmakers vote to limit powers of homeowners associations
KSTP-TV: HOA reform bill awaits Walz’s signature following final passage in Senate
I was quoted in the Star Tribune article on Thursday/Friday, but so far most coverage has been thin and most outlets didn’t seek out our opinion.  We’ll see how they handle it when the Governor signs this thing, probably next week.
