Richard Reeve from KSTP Channel 5 called me late yesterday to gather a statement on our network stance on SF1750, the much maligned piece of legislation that seeks to reform MCIOA and make things more difficult for HOA boards. He didn’t have time for an on camera interview due to a deadline to get it on the air by 5 p.m. (although the bad weather caused their station to go to weather reporting, delaying the report to the 9 p.m. news). The author of the bill (K. Bahner) seems to think the House vote, which is the next step, is likely to pass. We’ll keep an eye on it.
