June 6, 2026 | Mark Luis Foster
Our June chapters are underway, but we’re always a few months out in our planning for what comes next in our five active locations in the metro. We’ve had a lot of requests from members to cover landscaping issues for associations, which seems to be a point of consternation across HOA land.
In July, one of our great sponsors, Gonzo Bros, will be presenting on landscape issues and best practices in most chapters (excluding New Brighton, which will have different programming in July). In advance of that series of presentations, we’re conducting our next Pop Up Survey. We do these from time to time to get a handle on what’s going on in Minnesota as HOA leaders manage through myriad projects and difficult issues.
If you’re an HOA leader, we strongly suggest that you take our survey so we can make some comparisons and draw some conclusions about the types of landscape projects being undertaken, and whether or not they’re being completed to HOA boards’ satisfaction. We’ll reveal the answers at chapter locations before the Gonzo presentations, in July.
Members of the HOA Leadership Network will receive an e-blast on June 7 with a link to the survey. Please watch for it. If you’re not a member, you can sign up for free (as long as you live in an HOA) at www.hoalnet.com.
